Nassim Taleb, Ph.D.


Nassim Nicholas Taleb is currently Distinguished Professor of Risk Engineering at New York University Polytechnic Institute. After spending 20 years as a derivatives trader, he now focuses on the role of extreme events –across economics, philosophy, political science, finance, engineering, and history. His current focus is on "antifragile" systems, those that gain from disorder. His books Antifragile, The Black Swan & Fooled by Randomness have been published in 33 languages.
